No one should have to dread the Olympics...

Yet many people, myself included, have reservations on whether the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games can truly go on without a serious security hitch.Between the terrorists and the controversial laws and the volatility in the neighboring Ukraine, I seriously wonder if Sochi 2014 could be the least successful Olympics in a long time, regardless of how many medals the Japanese contingent takes home...

As long as Peyton Manning, Wes Welker, Knowshon Moreno, Champ Bailey, and company silence Richard Sherman and company this Groundhog Day in the Big Apple, all will be well in the Niner Empire...

Unless I've unknowingly heard his music out of the Rite Aid store sound system while on the job, I'm clueless about Justin Bieber's music...

Happy birthday to Yasuhiro Takato(who turns 46),Kaori Miwa(who turns 35),and Asaka Minamori(who turns 32)...

While Kobe's popped Achilles is a relief to many non-Lakers fans,it would do any Sacramentans like me any good unless Mark Mastrov and company can save our Kings. If the NBA owners side with Chris Hanson and company,I'd might as well boycott the NBA entirely. No wonder I have at least a dozen pro soccer fan apps on my local devices(geaux Samurai Blue, geaux Impact, geaux Club America Aguilas). Not to mention the resurgence of my Niners,Gigantes, and Habs...
Happy birthday to Yasuyoshi Hara(who turns 61),Ayako Shiraishi(who turns 50),and Kimiyoshi Kibe(who turns 49)...
