Just when I thought I had to mark 'air mail/par avion' on normal envelopes from now on...

After a long trip to Oto's(where I caught some late innings of a pleasing Giant Big Red Choke),I got off the bus across from the shopping center near my house co-anchored by Safeway and CVS/pharmacy.While inside the latter,I found something that few places(including my store)carry anymore:air mail envelopes.I thought I was going to have to either mark 'air mail' or put a relevant label on a normal envelope when mailing letters overseas,as sooner or later I'm gonna have to resume trading my duplicate stamps with overseas collectors.Until that moment,I was very low on air mail envelopes.Speaking of that trip to Oto's,it was unexpectedly cold:daytime temps were struggling to stay above 70 just a week after we had highs in the 90's...

Happy birthday to Hirohiko Kakegawa(who turns 48 though a wiki-vandal changed it to 53),Daisuke Sakaguchi(who turns 39),and Tomokazu Sugita(who turns 32)...
