No wonder everyone is turning to fansubs...

Some years back,ADV's en masse licensing agreement with Sojitz was wrested away by Funimation.Within the past year,Funimation sued ADV and its associated entities(Section 23,Sentai Filmworks,etc.)claiming the companies owed Funimation money.Just days ago,ADV simultaneously filed a counterfeit and a third-party claim alleging monopolistic acts on Funimation's part.Based on the fact that several companies have either folded(CPM,Urban Vision),discontinued their North American operations(Bandai,Geneon/Pioneer,Tokyopop),or are in danger of going under(Media Blasters,Animeigo)along with the fact that only Viz(co-owned by multiple Japanese licensor entities)is effectively functional,ADV has a point.Not to mention I have far more ADV releases than Funimation ones...
