Maybe hitting a post-storyline brick wall in DQ9 was what I needed to actually post...

Anyway,I'm just thankful not only that yachinami didn't have any relatives or acquaintances in the hard-hit Touhoku region of Japan, but also that many of our favorite anime/manga/game personnel have reported that they are alive and well(not just Kappei-sama but also especially those with birth ties to the hardest hit prefectures like Houko Kuwashima and Kouichi Yamadera, and the list continues to grow as I speak).I seriously gotta get over to Oto's on my next day off,and not simply to re-stock what I'm low on...

As for Dragon Quest IX;I've cast the fallen angel Corvus aside and regained the Starflight Express, but I've hit a creativity freeze.Sooner or later,I'm gonna somehow have to experiment with more vocation changes and/or actually manage to canvass enough Quester's Rest guests to unlock additional floors.Too bad only 99 treasure maps can be carried at a time...

A few weeks ago,I was loaned out to another Rite Aid(close to where I live),and it was refreshing in many ways(higher volume and a more affluent clientele,on top of a more varied general merchandise selection).Already since the MLK weekend,3 California Rite Aid location(all in Fresno or Los Angeles)have bitten the dust(RAD's Golden State store count is now at 591,now even fewer than Walgreens);and I just hope business at my sparsely-busy-as-of-late normal store can pick up enough to avoid the same fate...

Speaking of Oto's,my most recent trip there almost a month ago turned out to be the last time my 32 GB flash ZEN would work properly:A couple of weeks ago,the player wouldn't accept new files I tried to upload even though there was plenty of room. Then when I rebooted the player,I got the blank screen of death when beyond the initial logo screens insted of the library rebuild screen and nothing changed even several minutes later. After repeating the process,I knew it was a goner.I dropped it off at Best Buy for recycling;and hopefully either or preferrably both of my 2 ZEN Vision W's will continue to operate for the indefinite future since I don't feel like spending big anytime soon...

Right now, both the NBA and NFL both have me tuned out for more reasons than one...

Happy 27th birthday to Yuuka Nanri...
