While Googling for fansubbed episodes of Futari wa Purikyua Splash Star
in XviD(from 25 onward,I have the first 24 plus the movie subbed),I stumbled onto this site
.Though the site(and the episode subtitles)were in Spanish(which I'm admittedly rusty at even though it was one of my better high school subjects),I decided to take the plunge(no torrents involved, just Megaupload)since the episodes both were in ZEN
-friendly AVI format and were a smaller file size than the raws(even though they were also AVI's),allowing me to free up a little room on my hard drive. The funny thing about the subtítulos españoles
is that the accents that some words require are completely missing. In any case, this still beats the complexities involved with matroskas...
Speaking of the Hispanophone world,felicitaciones
to first-time-champions Spain
on proving that World Cups aren't always won on 'style' points...
Maybe it was because his chances of landing in the 916 were a longshot anyway, but was I the only one saying 'well whoop-dee-doo' about LeBron
's assertions of it being the most difficult game of the series are true,I'm likely in no hurry to chance it with Dragon Quest IX
.I've almost had the urge to revisit Dragon Quest VIII
(which I barely started before hitting an early brick wall),but some horror stories(mainly concerning the hated 'Thwack' spell)have scared me away for the time being...
Happy birthday to both Kazue Komiya(who turns 58)and Yoshino Nanjou(who turns 26)...
