OTOH,I seriously hope the same can be said about my company's ongoing struggles;but some things lately haven't been encouraging:I forgot to mention last post that my store actually received its bi-weekly shipment of Thrifty Ice Cream a day late just over a week ago,and that is a little disconcerting. As of late,in-stock levels of some products have been shaky because the distribution warehouse hasn't consistently been replenishing item stock at the store level. While out today,I slipped into another Rite Aid locally, and I was a bit jealous of their stock levels and enhanced merchandise selection. It's not even a full week before a new CEO takes the reins and already the village idiots at this message board are already writing off John Standley as 'the CEO who will preside over the company's demise,'and it seems like they're hoping Rite Aid goes BK or merged even though they've never worked behind a Rite Aid counter or held company stock. Not to mention that Forbes online recently scored an own goal against its own credibility for suggesting that RAD is 'at serious risk of bankruptcy.'Hopefully, for the tens of thousands of Rite Aid employees,Mary Sammons's successor can prove all those 'prognosticators' wrong...
