the first two days, but yesterday I did manage to make it to Sac Anime winter 2010
.When I got to the venue early in the 10 AM hour(after my first ever light rail ride
on a Sunday),there was no long line in the parking lot which gave me the wrong impression that I was in the wrong hotel;but I was at the right one,and there wasn't much of a line at the registration counter to speak of nor was it ever seriously crowded.A lot of good stuff sold out at the vendor booths last time, but I made it out of there with a few goodies including the CD playing right now from an anisong artist with a Shin Seiki Evangelion
connection. That wasn't the only Eva-centric item in my mini-haul:I also got a NERV cap.The only domestic item I got was Hunter x Hunter
19 since it's never in stock at the bookstores.I didn't purchase any Japanese snacks(I can get better deals even at Oto's
which I skipped by for the first time this year earlier today.)or DVD's(I intend to make at least one last stop at Suncoast while it's still open, since at least one further markdown or two has been taken since I was last in there.)...
Happy 41st birthday to Kyohko Hikami.I keep forgetting to try Breath of Fire V:Dragon Quarter
when I get a chance to see if it has Japanese dialogue...
On a non-anime note,an annual Global World Series between the MLB and NPB
champions sounds intriguing, especially if the latter is as dominant as the 2-time defending World Baseball Classic
