Kappei-sama,happy 43rd;and how fitting it is that your first North American con appearance was announced today.Of course based on the past few Otakon editions that have had at least 20 special guests and the fact that there were 2 Japanese seiyuu guests(SekiTomo,Mami-Mami)last year,a second seiyuu guest(not counting English dub VA's)would only be bad if it was someone you were castmates with in Plastic Little and most recently Futari wa Purikyua Splash Star and had previously made con appearances in the final 2 editions of the now-defunct Anime Overdose.Don't know if I'll actually make it to Baltimore this August(Even though Makkun is also appearing as part of one of side group projects,I'm a West Coast guy),but good luck on you NA con debut...

Well, since there's a 3-in-1 available(encoutered by accident at Borders),I'm now trying to get into the Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou manga. The anime version marked the seiyuu debut of Mai Mishou Atsuko Enomoto...

Besides Kappei, other seiyuu celebrating birthdays today include Shouzou Iizuka(who turns 75)and Youko Asada(who turns 39 and whose only significant role that I've encountered in anime that I've watched has been as Arisu Mizuki in Serial Experiments Lain)...

In non-Japan matters,I've been in a bit of a kick of obtaining vintage Sacramento maps from the 50's and 60's(definitely before my time)...
