Well,Kappei's character in Death Note was apparently killed off recently.Since it's one less voice role, let's just hope he's resting in the company of his wife and kid(s),because for his own good he shouldn't risk the trauma of getting into anymore pressure-cooker voice acting projects like what he had to go through in 35 episodes of a 49-episode anime series in which he voiced a primary character last year.Back to SakuTai,why he had to make his SakuTai guest voice appearance in the one OVA episode in which Kohran sang the OP and ED songs is beyond me.Back to the subject of Death Note,L's death does mean that he won't be in the same episodes as Near(a new male character);and since Near is voiced by Noriko Hidaka(who voiced past Rumic psycho girls Akane and Kiki-ho),a post-Inu Yasha reunion of two non-canon Rumic couples has been averted.I wonder if Kappei-sama and Hiromi Tsuru have been in anything together since the latter voiced a guest character in IY episodes 85 and 86...
Speaking of seiyuu, while there's still time, happy birthday to both
