Turns out both region 1 Card Captor Sakura TV DVD boxed sets have been out for the past month or two(they were prizes in the December Newtype USA),but have been so elusive that I had to order them online...
Don't know whether it was a replacement or fixed one,but I now have my Rio Carbon back.Which is a good thing because my Rio Karma has been prone to periodic freeze-ups lately(and was only covered by a 30-day warranty due to it being "factory-reconditioned")...
