Bizarre,but ominous, dumb-luck dreams

Admit it.At one time or another by dumb luck,we'll all have dreams that are so bizarre that we scoff it in disbelief;but eventually,it turns out to be at least a slight omen.I've had some in recent years, and here's a few of them...

  • About a year or two into my current job,I had a dream that a neighboring store(to the one I've always worked at)was being shuttered and was having a going-out-of-business liquidation sale.Last year,it turned out to be true, but for a different neighboring store which I pretty much grew up with(we'd always get our prescriptions filled there). In fact,at least one of that store's former employees is now at my store...
  • About two or three years ago,I had a dream in which I stumbled into a newspaper headline reporting that Sears and J.C. Penney were close to a merger.Just months ago,Sears and K-mart announced their intention to merge...
  • In a "WTF" dream that awakened me from my sleep one Sunday morning in the fall of 2002,I was websurfing and on an ezBoard(none of which I've been to lately due to the comp's performance woes). On that ezBoard, someone reported that Kappei-sama was married to Rika "Sailor Venus" Fukami which can't be true since they're seldom in a voice acting project together.Even worse, months later(in May of 2003),I had the misfortune of finding out about Hiromi Tsuru's "cheating heart:"the fact that she was once married to someone other than Kappei-sama,even though she and that someone(being fellow seiyuu Keiichi Nanba)have since divorced...
  • Finally,a couple of nights ago,I had a dream that the Los Angeles Kobes had traded their superstar to the Philadelphia Sickers, though I don't remember for whom.Though nothing ominous has happened(either way),that dream could be an good omen for Kings fans and/or members of the mr_basketball and lakershaters...

Speaking of the NBA;Yuta Tabuse, the league's first Japanese-born player to make a NBA team roster, was waived by the Phoenix Moons. If my Kings do make a roster move soon,it would be sweet if they got him...

Finally, speaking of Japan;since it's already tomorrow(the 20th)there,happy birthday to 2 great female seiyuu that have worked alongside Kappei-sama so many times that either could be married to him:Yumi Touma(who turns 38) and Chisa Yokoyama(who turns 35),the latter who has co-hosted a radio show with Kappei-sama and Sakura Taisen creator Ohji Hiroi for the past few years(which is still on the air)...
