Yesterday,a city bus operator actually complemented my Yuki Sohma rat cap,even though she's an older lady who's never heard of anime.I've been having the urge to wear it a lot lately(especially when on the way to work or on the go),and I'd want to get a Menchi and/or Puchu one once they become available later in the month so I can alternate them to reduce wear and tear...

BTW,I did win that Twinbee Paradise CD I bid on a week or two ago.Also,I did recently receive my Japanese import copy of the real Super Mario Brothers 2(not the U.S. version known in Japan as Super Mario Brothers USA).Thank goodness I've played it previously as part of Super Mario Brothers Deluxe and Super Mario All Stars,because the 3 types of mushrooms are mere palette swaps of each other...

Since there's still 11½ hours to do so,happy birthday to three seiyuu who share a birthday today:Kazusa Murai(who turns 29 and voiced Saki Sawanoguchi in the Mahou Tsukai Tai! TV series),Machiko Toyoshima(who turns 33,but I'm not familiar with recognition wise as I've only heard a minor role of hers in the Twinbee Paradise audio drama),and Megumi Tano who voiced a couple of characters in Ayane's High Kick.There seems to be confusion as to how old the latter seiyuu is:ANN says she was born in 1962,while Hitoshi Doi lists a 1968 birth year.If the latter source is correct,she would be the only seiyuu born in December of 1968.For some reason,I've been wishing happy birthday to just about any seiyuu born in December.I could have done it for Satomi Koorogi when hers came up earlier in the month,but there seems to be a lot of confusion as to what year she was born:Hitoshi Doi says she was born in 1962,her Japanese wikipedia article lists a 1965 birth year,while a couple sources say 1966.Oh,well...

One of these days,I'm gonna eventually switch to a flip phone.That combination hands-free device/FM radio hardly ever works;and though my other hands-free device still works fine,there's no guarantee it will last forever.In either case,the clothing clip/hook on both of my cell phone earpieces don't always stay on.With a flip phone,I probably won't always need to use a headset;since when unfolded,it'll be a bit larger than the K7 Rave I currenly use.In fact,Virgin Mobile now offers 3 different flip phones,one of them a camera phone!The limited warranty on my current phone expires in January,but I might not wait that long...

I'm now making more money than I've ever made in the past,yet I've so far been reluctant to get that plush Mokona sold at Waldenbooks because of the ridiculous $27 price tag.Even the plush Menchi(same size)was a value at just $15...
