While there was very little left when I dropped by last week,my local Borders was one of the last ones open as other metro locations had already closed.I definitely plan to make a long-overdue trip to Oto's
next week, but it would be interesting to see if they've had better luck getting imported Japanese products in stock given that the tsunami
-instigated shortages were really kicking in when I was last there almost a couple of months ago.Not to areas to the west are suddenly getting hit by one typhoon after another
Speaking of Japan,I dropped by Dimple
for the first time in quite a while and went home with a lot of cheap J-pop:Eri Hiramatsu

By dumb luck,I found two stockbooks filled with stamps at a local Goodwill store
.While almost half the stamps were stuck inside due to a prior collector being careless in a damp environment,I was able to still salvage a good quantity of stamps as well as re-focus on my own collection which I've hardly devoted time to lately. The hazard of a potential USPS
demise is the last
thing that this hobby(losing traction stateside compared to Europe)needs...
Three cheers to the current head teamster
