Lately,based on my e-mail comment notifications,it appears that certain third-party maintained communities that I belong(but don't own)to have been hit by spam commenting by anon users.While the communities I own hadn't been plagued by this,I've elevated the security levels on them(only registered users can comment though non-members will see a CAPTCHA)to match this personal journal(haven't forgotten that imitation-jewelry spambot incident).Then again,my communities tend to get light traffic as it is...

Speaking of e-mail,the Borders collapse recently had me on binge of deleting outdated and obsolete e-mail's on G-mail.I've deleted about two-thirds of some 5500 total messages in my inbox(not counting those in the spam folder which auto-deletes messages over a month old);but of course,some older messages are too important to delete even now.Apparently,borders.com remains open normally but could be sold soon...

Being someone who guards his smartphone with his life,I can never understand how some abuse theres so much that the screens get cracked even if its a newer model than I use...

I'm totally with you on the smartphone thing. I carry mine around in a case so that it doesn't get a scratch or anything else. I think some people just don't take care of their things.
