Over the weekend,I became legally old enough to be President of the United States
;but then again,I don't think I'll ever want to hold a political office.I just don't trust myself clashing with what the inept electorate puts in office every election year.I'l just stick with my normal job, thank you.On any given election year,at least some American voters always find a way to blow it by blindly voting for someone who doesn't
truly stand for the interests of the average American. It would be a grave mistake if Obama isn't reelected next year, because if another GOPig gets voted into the White House, let's just say that the current Eurozone debt issues would become a sideshow...
BTW,whenever one plays Dragon Quest IX
on his/her birthday, special things happen when checking the 'Battle Records' menu and/or visiting legacy guests at the Quester's Rest...
I almost used the relevant avatar before the first part of this post got a little political, but Kousuke Fukudome
is now a Cleveland Indian, having fortunately been traded by the Billy Goat-cursed Scrubs.Believe it or not,my Gigantes
have had a couple of Japanese players(outfielder Tsuyoshi Shinjou
and pitcher Keiichi Yabu
)on the 25-man roster during separate seasons within the past decade.Trading for a big bat
just made their quest for a repeat that much easier...
Am I the only fan who didn't think that the finally-resolved NFL labor dispute
had to go as far as it did?
Speaking of birthdays, happy birthday to both Mitsuaki Madono(who turns 47)and Ryouko Tanaka(who either turns 37 or 38 depending on source)...
