| ...but reading through the f-list is easier on the comp...when it isn't being sluggish... Of the official footy league apps I have, one happens to be the official J-league one.Of course,it's tricky to root for just one team in J-soccer.I have favorite teams in both MLS and the FMF,now it comes to having favorite teams in the Euro-leagues... Kappei-sama,happy 47th;also happy birthday to Shouzou Iizuka(who turns 79),Youko Asada(who turns 43),and Junko Okada(who turns 39)...

| It seems that my comp's likely malware-related issues only seem to be getting worse:Yesterday,I actually worked a daytime(morning/afternoon)shift;and despite turning the comp on upon waking up,the scheduled auto scan was ruined shortly after I got home when a McAfee sub-component malfunctioned and caused the scan to stall for an indefinite period of time to the point I had to abort the scan at bedtime.I eventually started a manual scan just before lunchtime(after which I left for work).Hopefully,it'll finish by bedtime if not before when I get home by work... Happy 58th birthday to Houchuu Ohtsuka...

| Good thing for my new mobile devices, because I've lost the urge to turn on the sluggish comp on workdays most of the time(unless a security scan is involved and/or I work a morning shift and do stuff on it in the early evening upon getting home).Hopefully, though, the sluggish performance will be solved without doing anything expensive... The way pro indoor sports are going(the Magoofs not having a clue, the Cup-starved Habs being in transition again, and the prospect of another labor dispute treating a whole NHL season for the second time in a decade),I may seriously have start following world club soccer as I have downloaded some relevant apps onto this Galaxy S II... Happy birthday to Isao Sasaki(who turns 70),Unshou Ishizuka(who turns 61),Kousuke Toriumi(who turns 39),Asami Imai(who turns 35),and Akemi Satou(who turns 32)...

| Earlier today,an update to the LJ Android app was downloaded to this Galaxy S II.For the first time,I can view prior posts as well as friends posts.Just maybe it'll be safe to post on the Galaxy Player 4.0... As far as I'm concerned,Mitt Romney can might as well concede the Presidential race.Even though I've yet to re-register to vote,I already decided long ago to leave well enough alone and keep Obama in the White House for 4 more years. On reason why I've been slow to re-register to vote is due to advice from the UFCW(which just launched a mobile app)to be wary on registration booths outside stores. Not to mention that I can easily pick up a registration form at a library and/or post office(if one doesn't have them, the other should)... Hopefully, the comp's next scheduled security scan will finish by bed time instead of three in the morning like it did earlier today... Happy birthday to Naomi Nagasawa(who turns 41),Mayumi Yamaguchi(who turns 37),and Takashi Kondou(who turns 33)...

| For now,I'm making all mobile posts via my Galaxy S II as the LJ app on my Galaxy Player 4.0 has caching issues the has resulted in errant editing of a couple posts to the point I had to delete them entirely. The latter device seems more suited for at-home-but-away-from-comp web surfing as well as games such as Angry Birds(which still lacks a dedicated LJ community)... As long as Rite Aid decides to celebrate its fiftieth anniversary sometime this calendar year, all would be well... Happy birthday to Ichirou Nagai(who turns 81),Kiyoyuki Yanada(who turns 47),and Natsumi Yanase(who turns 41)...

| What the jury agreed on(by 'disagreeing')was that Oracle was crying over spilt milk because Google was clearly the smarter company by taking full advantage of its competitor's missteps.Clearly,at the end of the day, they were thinking unselfishly of all the 'end users' of any(and every) Android-powered device out there.I wouldn't even call Oracle's 'hollow victory' a moral victory, and investors agreed as Google stock still rose while Oracle stock(worth just a fraction of Google's stock price)was flat in today's stock market trading.Speaking of Android,I happened to find myself a collectible Android figurine while reloading on J-snacks at Oto's of all places, and I made just my second trip there since moving in the first 90+-degree day of the year... Happy birthday to Chiaki Takahashi(who turns 35),Takanori Hoshino(who turns 32),and Satomi Satou(who turns 26)... | |

| One day a few months ago while browsing in Best Buy,I had the urge to try out Angry Birds on one of the demo tablets.Once I got my Galaxy Player 4.0 and eventually replaced my phone,it was pretty much the first app I downloaded on both Android devices. In all 4 versions,I've completed at least 1 episode;but upon doing so in the classic and Seasons version, the congratulatory screen taunted me(daring me to get three stars in every stage). What gets me about this is that some of the stages are so troublesome that you can't worry about star ratings once you do clear them.Whenever I've both cleared a troublesome stage after mutiple failures, getting even 2 stars is a fluke even though it's happened twice or thrice.Rio and Space have no such taunt message since bosses often wait at the end.Somehow,I'm now deficient on Birds novelties... Happy birthday to Minami Takayama(who turns 48),Takehito Koyasu(who turns 45),and Yuuto Suzuki(who turns 33).Somehow,I wonder whether region 1 anime distributors keep folding because they keep shooting themselves on the foot;and I've largely ignored fansubs because the older Kappei series keep getting ignored, not just because of those most subbers prefer those dumb MKV's and/or my comp's instability... | |

| While still home, this phone failed to turn on even when the battery charged overnight.Mercifully, removing and reinserting the battery brought it back to its senses and once I did turn it on I still managed to make it to the bus stop with plenty of time to spare schedule wise(even then, the 25 is some ten minutes late even after boarding it). Now,I wonder how long the comp's weekly virus scan takes even though it'll likely be still going once I get home from work around 10:45-ish... Happy birthday to Masashi Ebara(who turns 59),Akiko Yajima(who turns 45),and Daisuke Ono(who turns 34).Now if only ANN ever launches a mobile site and/or Android app...
